From my bedroom to practice, my job at Teach For America, the Zonal Championships, dates and my ultimate departure to Beijing, the TV show My First Time: Competing at the Olympics spent 6 weeks following me and 2 other Olympians around last June and July to capture our lives leading up to the Olympic Games.
Now the show has been nominated for an Emmy!
Jesse Zookmann was the producer and cinematographer on the show. He initially found me on facebook of all places! (And I’m very glad he did!)
A huge congratulations to Jesse and everyone who worked on the show! Good luck!!!
