Men’s Saber Heading to Africa for Competition!

We’re headed to Tunis, Tunisia this weekend for a competition.
Ben Igoe, Jason Rogers, James Williams, Konate Primus, Luther Clement, Eric Arzoian and myself will be competing. We’re connecting through Paris, France and about to depart.

Charity Water “Builds a Well” in Chelsea Market

Quick Disclaimer: Writing quickly because I’m leaving for Africa in 2-hours and am not packed yet!
Charity Water founder Scott Harrison’s latest fund raising efforts are taking place at Chelsea Market. The charity which uses donations to build water wells in impoverished areas of Africa is opening a well in the center of this NYC mall to help raise additional money.
All the coins being thrown down the well will be matched three-fold so definitely pay it a visit and throw some change down for a good cause!

Joey Dente Jr, Jourdan Lawler, Leigh-Taylor Smith and I attended the opening of this well and got a chance to chat with Scott Harrison about his ongoing work to bring fresh water to those in need. We also spent some quality time mingling amongst the crowd of over 1200 people who came out to support Charity Water which incidently raised $30,000 last night.
The long corridor of Chelsea Market which houses NY1, our friends at LX-TV along with a number of great stores was an interesting venue for a party. Figure skating legend, and regular on the event scene, Oksana Baiul, was in attendance and looked to be enjoying herself as always.
Ok, now I really have to go pack for Africa!
Moral of the story:
Go visit the well and throw some change down it for a good cause!
