My growing motivational speaking career took me to the offices of the Ameriprise Financial Groups Manhattan office today.
I spoke to approximately 40 of their financial advisors, sharing with them my Olympic story and the lessons I learned along the way about the power of proper goal setting and going for it with the right mental approach.
My key messages related to reaching your goals are about using your strengths, what it truly means to own responsibility for your goals and how to turn challenges into positives.
Also in attendance were my Olympic Teammate Jason Rogers, my college teammate Boris Moyston and friend Van Adams.
