Fencing Comes to Park Ave with Summer Streets Program!

We’ve taken fencing to schools, corporations, fashion show runways, boardwalks, television shows, bumper cars and now…Park Avenue!
A future Olympian wields a saber for the first time on Park Ave!
Several hundred people were in attendance this Saturday as Sean Buckley, Melvin Rodriguez, Steve Pochapin, Jason Rogers and me took fencing “to the streets” literally!
We demonstrated fencing and gave a short clinic as part of the Summer Streets Stage program which is shutting down Park Ave in New York to cars on three Saturdays during the summer to allow for biking, running and all kinds of physical fitness programs to take place!

Between school visits, corporate speeches, clinics across the country, fashion shows and boardwalks we’ve now shown or taught fencing to over 15,000 people since Beijing!
When is the next Saturday? We need to be there!
