Fencing at Chico State!

Chico, California Here I Come!

Actually, “here I am” is more accurate.  

I flew into Sacramento, CA around 2am EST last night and then a really nice women, Kim, picked me up and drove me to Chico.  Today, I’m fencing in one of their local competitions and giving a speech tonight on the campus of Chico State.

I’ve been told by several people that Chico State is one of the top party schools in the country!  Haha.  My trip here is short, I leave on a red eye tomorrow and am meeting up with the rest of the saber guys (Daryl, Ben, James and Jason) to fly to Turkey for World Championships. 

I haven’t posted much this week since I’ve been busy training and getting ready to leave as well as working on the book I’m hoping to complete in the next 3 months!

Also, just to clarify, worlds will be live on internet and then broadcast on TV around mid-late October on Universal Sports.

It’s also suppossed to be in National Enquirer, but I haven’t seen it yet.  Should be interesting to see how many weekly and monthly magazines pick it up now.  Hopefully, it will have a strong second life in those publications!
