Teach For America Goes Olympic!

While covering the 100 day countdown to the Vancouver Olympic Celebration at Rockefeller Center I was excited to find some familiar faces!
Amongst the hundreds of local children in attendance were severeal current and former Teach For America teachers and their students!
The kids and teachers all got some pretty jazzy Olympic gear and the students got to sign autographs, meet many Olympians and ice skate!
Now Teach For America does an ice skating event in Central Park, but I think this one might be hard to top with Olympic Gold Medalist Sarah Hughes skating with them!
Kids from Mott Hall 3 and various other schools were there! Such a perfect day. The Olympics and TFA!
