Can Margaret Lu be Stopped? The 2-Time US National Champion is about to take Brooklyn by storm on her goal to win the Fencing Masters Future Stars Championship!

You don’t want to mess with 2-time Senior National Champion and 2011 Junior Bronze Medalist Margaret Lu when she has a goal in mind!

This Sunday, she is taking her talents to the Brooklyn Fencing Center where she’ll be competing at the Future Stars Qualifier to try to win her way to the Future Stars Championship on June 26!  If she makes it there wins then she’ll be fencing in the main event of Fencing Masters at Hammerstein Ballroom before a crowd of 2000+, spectators on television against some of the worlds best.

Will she have some competition along the way?

Ambika Singh Team USA Women’s Foil Update from St. Petersburg…

Hi from St. Petersburg!

We expected it to be much colder but its sunny and 80 degrees! Anyway, we have 7 fencers in the St.Petersburg Grand Prix who are me (Ambika Singh), Luona Wang, Nicole Ross, Kylei McGill, Doris Willette, Margaret Lu, and Eve Levin. Lu, Singh, Willette, Ross, and Wang make it to the next day to the round of 64. Will update you on results tomorrow.

US men’s foil arrive the 23rd which is the day we fence teams.  Lets go USA!
