“The Romantics” Premiere in NYC: Tom Cruise and I talk Fencing!

I had read somewhere that Tom Cruise had a fencing room in his house…

Tonight, I got the chance at the premiere of his wife Katie Holmes new movie “The Romantics” to ask him if that is indeed true…

.

.

Drum roll….

.

The answer is: Yes!

.

But…it was only when he was training for his movie The Last Samurai….he said he was practicing 5-hours a day to get ready! Wow!

.

Sadly, the fencing room no longer exists, but he did say that he watched the USA fencing team during the Beijing Olympics! NICE!  (He’s a really nice guy and you can tell he takes whatever he does very seriously)

We’ll count him as a fan! Now if I can just get him to the Fencing Masters
