U.S. Fencing will host a free community outreach event in commencement of the Summer National Championships in Atlanta. The event will be held on July 2 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Warren/Holyfield Boys & Girls Club located at 790 Berne Street.
The event will feature 2008 Olympic silver medalist Tim Morehouse, live fencing demonstrations by Cherokee Fencing Club / Atlanta Fencers Club and several members of Shepherd Spinal Center’s fencing team, the only disabled fencing team in the U.S. Included among the parafencers will be ParaOlympian Mark Calhoun who placed 16th in Beijing and Dennis Aspy of the national team.(READ ARTICLE: www.fencing.net)
